Refund & Returns Policy — Valentine’s Boutique

Valentine’s Boutique offers romantic and seasonal gift items, many of which are handmade, produced on demand, or fulfilled by trusted third-party suppliers.

Because of the nature of these products, we operate under a strict returns policy outlined below.

By placing an order, you agree to these terms.


Sale or Return / Exchange Policy

Valentine’s Boutique does not offer a sale-or-return or exchange policy of any kind.


1. Item(s) damaged / faulty on receipt

Please inform us of any damages / missing items / faulty items within 3 calendar days from the receipt of your order. If an item is damaged on receipt, please contact us via email to report the issue. Please quote your invoice/order number and the item code of the damaged item.

In most cases:

  • We will request for a photograph of the item to be emailed to us (including the item code and invoice/order number).

On occasion, we may request for the item(s) to be returned to us. In such cases we will provide you with a Returns Form for you to fill in and further instructions on how to return the item(s), which depend on the value/size of the return.

Please note: credit, rather than refund or replacement, will be offered for damaged/faulty items.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
No compensation is provided for missed occasions, emotional impact, or delayed gifting.


2. Items missing from order

If an item is missing from your order and it is not marked as “out of stock” on your invoice, please contact us via email stating your invoice/order number and item code.

Please make sure you report missing items within 3 calendar days from the delivery date of your order.

Once verified, we will credit the account for the value of the missing item(s).

Please note: credit, rather than refund or replacement, will be offered for missing items.


3. Items sent in error

If you receive any items you did not order, please inform us within 3 calendar days.

In most cases, we will arrange collection.
If you were charged for items sent in error, we will refund the affected product value.


4. Items ordered in error by the customer

If you ordered incorrect item(s) or quantities:

  • Notify us within 3 calendar days
  • Returned goods must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging
  • Return shipping is paid by the customer
  • Original delivery costs will be deducted from any credit
  • Large returns may incur collection fees

Upon inspection, store credit will be issued.


5. Change of mind

If you change your mind:

  • Notify us in writing within 3 calendar days of delivery
  • Goods must be returned within 10 calendar days of receipt
  • Items must be unopened and resale-ready
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility
  • Collection fees (if requested) will be deducted from the final credit

Items returned damaged or not fit for resale will NOT be credited.


6. Non-returnable items

The following are NOT eligible for return or refund:

• Used or opened products
• Personalized/custom items
• Seasonal merchandise after the holiday
• Final sale items
• Gift cards or digital products
• Items affected by scent preference
• Products refused by gift recipients


7. Appearance & scent disclaimer

Due to handcrafted production and screen differences:

  • Colors may vary
  • Flower placement may differ
  • Fragrance strength is subjective

These are NOT considered defects.


8. Special occasion & delivery disclaimer

Valentine’s Boutique cannot guarantee delivery by specific dates, including Valentine’s Day.

Carrier delays are outside our control.

Orders marked “delivered” by the carrier are considered fulfilled.

We are not responsible for:

• refused gifts
• unclaimed deliveries
• recipient reactions
• missed romantic occasions


9. No exchanges

We do not offer exchanges.


10. Refund method

Approved refunds or credits are issued to the original payment method or as store credit.

Processing may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank.


11. Chargebacks

Chargebacks filed for orders covered by this policy may be contested using delivery confirmation, supplier documentation, and customer communications.


12. Legal rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights under applicable law.
